The Lord washed the earth last night.  It rained all night long up into the morning.  We really needed it.  All the colors are coming  alive outside.  Spring has definitely arrived.
I love to watch flowers pick up their heads to the sun.  I think I have several amaryllis  that are ready to pop out of their buds anytime.

My computer crashed again.  I lost all my documents graphics etc.  Everything except what was on Internet.
It did not mess up my blog.  Silas re-programed it but I have not felt like writing.  I am better with my IBS but still not up to par.  I have to go to my Gastro doctor today.  It is just a followup.  Seems all my energy is sapped.  Maybe getting out will help.

The home schooling with my grandson is coming along fine.  He got his first nine weeks grades and his lowest was a 97.  He has been trying to double up on some of his subjects.  As long as he does fine on his quizzes and test I let him go.

Just wanted to let you know I am still around.  Hopefully I will get back into blogging more often in a few days.  Just pray that this physical problem will clear up completely.

JUST A NOTE

Thought I would let you know I am still alive and kicking.  Tomorrow I go for a follow up with my doctor. This  Irritable Bowel Syndrome is no fun.  It is a process of elemination.  Certain foods and drinks will flare it up. Sugar is one of them.  I think coffee is another.  Along with that and a Fibromyalgia flare up my week has not been the best.

Silas has been planting the garden.  He is, also, starting a chicken pen.  I can't wait to see it started and finished.  He has all the supplies bought and is ready to go with it.
Today was his birthday.  Around 9 am our daughter and her family can in with a chocolate cake and gifts and
sung Happy Birthday to him.   John, grandson, had to go to bed.  He worked all night.  So that was the only time that they would all be able to get together.

Keep me on your prayer list that I can get back feeling well enough to do my every chores.  Things do have a tendency to pile up around the house if it goes for a week.  I need to do some serious cleaning.

STILL HERE!

Hello again.
I wish I could say I am up and about but not yet.  I have been reading up on IBS and Gastritis.
Silas and I have appointment with our PCP Thursday.

The main thing I got out of researching was Acid versus Alkaline in your digestive system.   I know I have read on a blog about this very thing but don't remember where.  If anyone has info on this, please let me know.

I might not be able to eat much but I can still get "A Daily Rate" from feeding on God's Word.

2 Kings 25:30   "And his allowance was a continual allowance given him of the king, a daily rate for every
day, all the days of his life."

Another verse I was thinking on is: Joshua 2:3  " And ye shall know in all  your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake  concerning you."

Sometimes the Lord has to slow us down so He can speak to us.
So we can think more on the things of God.  I'm glad He is faithful.

Still Here!

Hello everyone ! You have not seen any  recent post because I have been been in the hospital.  I went to the emergency room last Saturday with severe pain on my right side.  They took test but could not pin point where the  pain was coming from.  They gave me pain pills to get through the week end. (which I hate to take.")
I called my PCP Monday morning and she thought  I needed to be back at emergency  They did a few more test.  Then the house doctor thought  I needed to be admitted.

I was put through the mill with test.  A scope of my abdomen, more test on my stomach and small bowel.

I came home yesterday morning.   They said it was irritable  bowel syndrome.  Also, gastritis !  The lining of my stomach is inflamed.

It really is  havoc.  Family Physicians  do not go to the hospitals anymore.  So you have a strange doctor with no idea of your physical condition.  Then a specialist comes in and I couldn't slow him down enough to tell him much of anything ~~

I'm just glad I am home.  I will follow up with my primary doctor
next week.
Pray for us.  Silas had Pneumonia last month.  He followed up with a chest x-ray and it took them two weeks to get the report.  He still has something in a certain part of his lung that they still call pneumonia.  He is going for another x-ray the same day  that  I do my follow up.  So put us on your prayer list.

I will post  when I feel better.  Have a blessed day!

God's Flower Garden

I start looking for the wild violets around the middle of February.  I have done this for years.  I always get excited when I see the first one.  I found this one peeping up out of the grass.  I had to pick it and go show my husband.
This is where I usually look.  Around the trunk of old trees. I am always curious what might be in the hole, but not curious enough to dig in there and find out.  Seems the wild flowers love to grow around this old tree trunk.
More violets among the leaves.  (That was about two weeks ago.)  Now they are all over.  I don't  know what it is that is so exciting.  I think I just love God's Flower Garden. I  also know that it is time to get things ready to plant my flower beds.  We have tried but the rain has really been bad and the weather got chilly again. Maybe tomorrow we can get all our supplies together and go to the nursery to see what we want.  The trees are all budding out. In a few days the pollen will be flying all over. (Allergy season.)  My wisteria tree is putting on sprouts and the roses are sprouting new growth.  Spring is definitely  in the air.  I love Spring!  It puts a spring in my step.  I'm ready for it and I know all of you are, too.

OUR MISSIONARIES TO THE PRISON MINISTRY

                 FUNDAMENTAL BAPTIST CHURCH
 LIVINGSTON, LOUISIANA

We  had a  last get together for Joshua, Amber, Noah and Mallorie  Sunday Night after church.
They will be greatly missed in our services.  Josh is a very talented young man.  He probably could make a good living with his voice.  God has given him a voice to sing, but, thank God, he has used it for the Lord.
They have been raising support for awhile.  The Lord has supplied their every need.  It was such a blessing to us as they would come back home after each deputation trip.   He told how they were in dire circumstances several times.  Someone would call at the last minute and supply their need.  It was not the last minute for God!  He was teaching them to learn how to lean on the Him for their every need.  Building their faith!

Mrs Amber is a rather quiet young lady.  But she has learned, also, how to speak in front of a crowd and has grown so much in the Lord.  They took a trip to the Philippines last year.  Josh said he really did not know if Amber's heart was into Missions like his heart was!  When they came back from their trip ~ Amber was convinced that she was in God's will.  She was excited to get on the field.  Her whole out look was changed!

They have two precious children and expecting a third.  Little Noah and Mallorie will be missed so much.
Especially by their Grandparents on both sides and cousins.  But I am sure they will do fine.

As far as we know, they boarded the plane this morning. They will be in the air 21 hours.  If it comes across your mind ~ remember them in prayer,  not just today, but in the days to come.  They will have a lot of adjusting to do.  Knowing Josh, he will get on the ground running.  But his Uncle Mike Adams and Aunt Donna  (Prison Ministry Over See-er )  flew over with them to see them settled.  Uncle Mike is also from our church.  He is gone a lot on behalf of The Prison Ministry.

Pray that the Lord will help them find an apartment and get things settled.  We know the Lord is going to use them in a great way.  God bless parents that would rather see their children thousands of miles away doing God's work, than to stay here and gain material things and get their eyes on the wrong things.  This is not only a day for Josh and Amber but also for their parents:
Bro Rusty & Mrs Ceil Silvertooth
Bro Jimmy & Mrs Kathy Adams
Pray for them, also.

I will keep you up dated!
