My chicks are hatching.  You can see my hen house and yard.  This was an early birthday present.  As you can see ~ it is on wheels so it can be moved around.   The chicks hatched just in time.  Inside is the roost!  Right now we have about 20 baby chicks in there.  In a few weeks we will turn them out in the yard. There is a hole cut for them to go in and out of the hen house.  It is not open as of yet.
The windows are screened ~ so they can be open for light.  The door is on the left side to get in and out of the hen house. I really don't know how long it will be before they start laying.  Maybe this fall.

Need to get the day going with the home schooling.  We are on the first semester finals.
Have a good day!

How fun! I think I would enjoy having chickens... but we travel too much at this stage of our lives.

What a wonderful birthday gift! I know you will enjoy your hen house and I just love that it's on wheels so you can move it around.
Enjoy your day.

What a joy to have chickens! We thought about getting some - but we don't eat that many eggs. I look forward to seeing how your chickens do and what you'll make with all the eggs they produce.
I am watching for your Email.
Hugs and prayers and blessings,
