He Keeps the Key

Sometimes we don't always understand the things that come our way but we can know one thing. We have a Heavenly Father that knows all about us. Sometimes God closes a door which we knew was wide open for us. But we don't see as God sees! He knows the future. I was reminded this week as troubles and decisions surrounded me~ that I am not in control. I cannot bare the burdens that come my way. They are far to heavy. But I'm glad I know One that will take that burden and carry the heavy end. What ever He sends ~ is for my good. No! I still don't know what to do. My heart is heavy at times. Maybe this sounds like I'm looking on the dark side, but really ~ don't you feel over whelmed at times? I believe it in in those times that we draw nearer to Our Heavenly Father. So I really thank Him for what He has seen me through. After all, doesn't He hold The key to our life's? Is there some problem in your life to solve, Some passage seeming full of mystery? God knows, who brings the hidden things to light. He keeps the key. Is there some door closed by the Father's Hand Which widely opened you had hope to see? Trust God and wait! for when He shuts the door He keeps the Key. Is there some earnest prayer unanswered yet Or answered NOT as you had thought "twould be? God will make clear His purposed by and by. He keeps the key. Have patience with your God, your patient God, All wise, all knowing, no longer tarrier He; And the door of all thy future life, He keeps the key. Unfailing comfort, sweet and blessed rest, To know of EVERY door he keeps the key; That He at last when He sees 'tis best; Will give it to thee. Anonymous I think I had rather He hold the key. I might open the wrong door and where would I be. But thank God, He holds the key!

Amen! Sometimes the way that looks right to us takes us down the wrong path. Praise God he knows what lies ahead and can light the way...if we allow him to.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. I look forward to looking around at the other blogs on the KJV blogroll.

I agree with the statement that during the difficult times we draw closer to Christ (or at least we should). Those are some of the sweetest times with the Saviour!

Yes, I do feel overwhelmed at times. I'm constantly asking the Lord to help me keep my focus on Him and not on my circumstances. This was a great post!

A wonderful post..I love that you kept saying over and over..
HE HAS THE KEY...indeed he does! Amen...

Oh yes..those overwhelming moments or some days..we must give to the LORD and wait patiently as you said. HE does answer prayer..and sometimes the answer is a lesson in walking closer with HIM.

Thank you..

Aliene,
God allows us the opportunity to trust Him, while all along the way, He holds the Keys. Thank you for visiting my blog and encouraging me. I understand when times are difficult. Just remember God, is in total control and has a key for each situation we face in this life. God bless you.
Your sister in Christ,
Bren
