Deborah @ lyricdevotions.com was recently interviewed and is now conducting her own interviews, so I offered to answer her questions. My interview is below, but first, if anyone wants to take part in this meme and be interviewed by me, here's what you have to do... RULES: 1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me." 2. I will respond by emailing you five questions. (I get to pick the questions). 3. You will update your blog with the answers to the questions. 4. You will include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post. 5. When others comment asking to be interviewed, you will ask them five questions. Here are the questions: 1. Do you have a 'life verse'? If not please list a few favorite verses. Psalm 37: 4-5 "Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." 2. What is your favorite story from the Bible? From a child I suppose the story that has been with me is David and Goliath. 3. Do you have a favorite 'phrase' from the Bible? (such as 'it came to pass,' 'his mercy endureth forever,' 'that good part,' etc. I like the phrase, "But God." Psalm 73: My flesh and heart faileth, But God is the strenght of my heart, and my portion forever." 4. If you had a theme song for your life and faith, what thoughts or statements would you want it to contain? The Greatness of God, His ability to bring us through every trial, My inability to work out my ownlife, Something about Praising Him and thanking Him. 5. What would your theme song sound like? (what music style, fast, slow, upbeat, sombre...give an example of a similar sounding song) Upbeat ~ traditionally sung ~ I am thine oh Lord, The Love of God ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ To review the rules of the meme, go here. I look forward to reading your answers, so let me know when you have posted. I suppose you can make up your own questions.

Thanks Aliene! You're right, I'm looking for a new song...I haven't written a song for an entire year...that's a very long dry spell for me! But I think 'But God' would make a great title, don't you?!
Remember, when you do your own interviews, you get to make up your own questions.
