Seems the children of God are really being tested lately. Everywhere you look you see someone hurting or carry a heavy load, losing loved ones that you are never ready to give up. So many heartaches. But I'm glad as long as we know that Our Lord keeps His promised then we have hope. Many are trying to make decisions and need wisdom. In our family we have recently lost my Mother, then the week after my husband's cousin passed awau. Now we are being face with the loss of another loved one. Silas' sister, Joanna, has been in the hospital since the 12 of July. She has recently been move to a special hospital. Yesterday the doctors came in and told her she needed to get everything in order. She has nothing to fight infection with and they have to give her bllod about every other day. They give her the longest two months to live. Maybe less. So once again I am asking you to pray for her and the family. Silas is not taking it too good. Joanna lives in Little Rock Arkansas or near there. She is in the hospital in Little Rock.

It's true and hurts us, too to hear that many of God's children are hurting, facing ordeals at different degrees. I'm glad that we have hope in Christ.

Praying with you for God's comfort and strength to continue to cover you, Silas and Joanna...God bless.

I am not sure why God brought me over to visit you today, but I am so glad that I did. I agree so much with your post. In my extended family, we have had some losses also. Two sisters who have had strokes and having to live with the results of them. I see God blessings at work in all things though. I do not know what God has in store for me and my family in the days ahead but I want to just keep trusting the Lord. I pray this for you also. He will not disapoint us of that I am sure. I will be keeping you in my prayers and pray for all the strength that you and your family need during this time of trial. God bless and keep you. connie
