Gone Home!

Mother went to be with the Lord about 6:30pm. My sister got in this morning about 10:AM. The funeral will have to be next Tuesday as we are waiting more family members. When I sat down here my little Bible was opened to 1Corinthians 15:19. I don't remember it being opened at all. But the Lord knew just what I needed. "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, We are of all men most miserable." I'm so glad that we have that hope in Christ that we will meet again. All because of Calvary! Keep us on your prayer list as we go through the funeral next week Love all of you. Thanks for praying!

Praying for God's comfort and strength to cover you and your family at this time. Yes, praise the Lord for the hope we have in Him. When I lost both of my parents, that's the only thing that kept me strong. So glory to God! Love and prayers to you sister.

Adding you right now to Fearless Friday...I am praying for your family and also praising the Lord for bringing your mother home...((hugs)) How it hurts those that are left behind....sigh. We rejoice that their suffering has past and they are rejoicing and basking in God's love, but our hearts cry out for their presence here...

Aliene, I've only just read your posts and was saddened to hear about your mum. I pray the God of all comfort will be close to you all in this time of need. 'In my father's house are many mansions' ... What a wonderful saviour. I will keep you all close in prayer. Love, Jean x

Dear Aliene,

Thank you for joining my blog, welcome. When you get an opportunity, stop by CHIME, which is my devotional blog, if you will. If you click on the picture with the chime, it will take you there. May you be blessed when you visit.

I came over for a visit and read your last post "Gone Home". Although it is sad that your beloved mother is no longer with you; it is of great comfort to know she is with her beloved Saviour.

What a blessing to have found that verse in 1 Corinthians, the Lord is good.

"May the peace of God which surpasses all understanding guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Blessings,
Mrs. Teapot

I'm rejoicing for your Mother in her new heavenly home, and extending my smypathy to you and your family as you say goodbye. The sadness comes from those of us left behind, but one glorious day, if we have the Lord as our savior, there will be a wondeful reunion! May God comfort you and strengthen you as you go forward in the days ahead.

Aliene,

I know you have been expecting this for a while now but even so we are never ready to part with our parents. I lost my mother when I was 16 and my Daddy two years ago when he was 96.

You are in my prayers.

May God bless you.

Aliene...I am so very sorry to read this, but am praying, God give you peace and rest, as only he can.
When my Daddy passed away a good friend sent me this scripture...
Blessed in the sight of the Lord, is the death of His Saints. Psalms 116:15.
In God's Word there is always comfort.
