On the 5th of July I finished  my Bonnie Sue Quilt.  It is laid out on my queen
size bed.  Something happened to my pictures on it.  I finally was able to get a picture onto my blog.  Mom was gone one year on July 9th and I wanted to get it done by then.  It was a home made pattern but because Mom had the pieces cut out ~ I wanted to do it.  I am anxious to start something else.

I found out when you quilt that some things don't get done in the house.
This computer is acting up.  I'll try again later.

I love the touch of lace on each one. Very nice work Aliene. Hope you get that 'puter' working!

Very nice! Gotta work in the quilting around the house - and that's hard to do when you get excited about a quilt and that's all you want to do! ;)

It's beautiful...and extra special, knowing your mom cut it all out.

It is just gorgeous Aliene, I know you made your mama proud. Very good work too, praying for your puter too, it is not fun when it fights you, and sure miss you when you are not around, hugs my dear friend.

I LOVE it, I love that Mama "helped" you on it. I"m sure it was healing to work on it in this last year. Love you!

Hi Aliene,
When I was a little girl
my precious mother made a
quilt just like this for
me. I still have it. It
is so beautiful. This is
something to be cherished
forever, just as yours is.
Blessings,
Sandy

That's a beautiful quilt, and so special! You can have lovely memories whenever you look at it! I know what you mean about things around the house not getting done when you quilt!

Great job! I'm glad you learned to enjoy quilt making. So if the dusting doesn't get done a few times, it is still there, plus you have something beautiful to show for your time.
