JESUS IS ALL WE NEED

Last week I was reading Psalm 18 and thought "What a Great God We have!"
I will love thee, O Lord, my Strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower
I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised. (v. 1-3)
Sounds like He is all we need! First of all He is my Rock. My Solid Foundation! I guess one of the first song I was taught as a child was "The foolish man built his house upon the sand ." We know what happened. The rains came and because the house did not have a solid foundation the house came tumbling down. But, "The wise man built his house upon a rock." This house had a solid foundation and the storms and rains came but it stood fast.
" So build your house on the Lord Jesus Christ and the blessings will come down. The blessings come down as the prayers go up - so build your house on the Lord"
I am so glad HE is my Rock. When the storms of life come we can stand firm. One of my favorite songs is: HOW FIRM A FOUNDATION.
How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord, Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word. What more can He say than to you He hath said, To you who have refuge to Jesus have fled. Fear not I am with thee, Oh be not dismayed, for I am thy God I will still give you aid. I'll strengthenthee, help thee, and caused thee to stand, Upheld by My gracious, Omnipotent Hand. When through the deep waters I call thee to go, the rivers of sorrow shall not overflow. For I will be with thee thy trials to bless, And sanctify to thee thy deepest distress. E'en down to old age all My people shall prove, My Sov'reign, Eternal, Unchangeable Love. And when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn, Like lambs shall they still in My bosom be borne. The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose, I will not, I will not, desert to the foes. That soul, tho' all hell should endeavor to shake, I'll never, no never, no never forsake. Not only is He my Rock, but He is my Fortress and Deliverer. We can hide behind Him and know that He will deliver. My God, in Whom I will trust. We might think we have earthly friends that we can put our trust in, but most of the time we find that they fail us. But not My God. He never fails. He will not desert us to the foe. He always has His eye on us in the midst of the storm. My mind just went back to the hurricane Katrina that did so much damage in South Louisiana. We got some high winds that blew down trees all in our yard. Our yard was covered with debris and tree limbs that had snapped off. A big tree fell across the back of our house and touched the meter box and the very corner of the house. But as my we looked at the damage - not a shingle on our house was damaged. The storm was all about us, the evidence was there, but the Lord had protected us and our home. Then a couple months ago we heard on the news that a tornado would be in our area in a few minutes. In a tornado there is not time to prepare. Suddenly the sky got real dark, the winds picked up, trees started snapping. As I looked out the bathroom window I saw a big oak tree coming down next door where out two grandsons were. We really did not know what to do or which room to get in. We would go to the back of the house and trees were coming down, debris was falling, the rains were coming down hard. But do you know what our main concern was? Our two grandsons next door! My husband said he was going after them to make sure they were okay. Fallen trees were everywhere. Electricity was out. Electric wires were down. As my husband started out to check on the boys, who were teenagers, he was blocked in every direction. Finally he said: "I'm going to try and get through the back around the fence." This time he made it and brought the boys to where we were. As the tornado passed and we looked out - all we could see were fallen trees all over. We could not see the grouud anywhere. But the Lord had His eye on us and all of our houses were safe. He protected our lives and property as winds almost 1oo miles an hour passed over. The tornado did not touch down but just passed over. I thought how the Lord was our Fortress and Deliverer! And how He will always find a way to help us, as Grandpa was trying to find a way to help the grandsons. I think he would have given his life for two boys that day. But I glad I know One who not only gave His life for us, but He rose up from the grave that we might have Eternal life. Then He is My Buckler, the Horn of my salvation and my High Tower. Having Him to protect is all we need. The next verse is really the one we need to take note of. "I will call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised." He is worthy of all our praise! Take time today and praise Him for Who He is, for What He is and for what He has done. He deserves our praises! Verse 30 says: "As for my God, his way is perfect, the Word of the Lord is tried, he is a buckler for those that trust in him."

OVERALLS OR OVERHAULS?

Andrea, our great-grandaughter This is a picture of Andrea with her Pawpaw's overalls" on. The picture on the right is a pair of what the old farmers call overhauls. Is it overalls or overhauls? What did they overhaul, I wonder? I think Paw-Paw Rick probably overhauled a few of his little trucks, maybe. They, (the overalls, not trucks) have a flap in the back which button up. Just in case! The ,what I call, overalls was a pair that my Dad bought for our son, Rick, around 1961. I know you Moms know what they are. Rick's son wore them when he was around two years old. There is a picture somewhere of Christopher with them on. But I could not locate it. As I was going through my cedar chest I came across the overalls and brought them to my grand daughter, Bridget. Bridget is Rick's daughter and Christopher's sister. She put them on Andrea and took several pictures. Then we sent them to Paw-Paw. You can imagine his delight! Rick does not have any grandsons yet. As Bridget was putting them on Andrea she found the back had a diaper pin in it. I thought how many years that diaper pin had been there! It had a duck head and was still in good condition. In 1961 we did not know what pampers were. I can tell you today that the old fashion diapers and pins were the best. Nothing like taking an old fashion clothesline and penning diapers double on it. I can see them flapping in the breeze now. Then getting them folded just the right way. One way for girls - another way for boys. Does anyone remember this or am I just too old to be blogging? We had three or four dozen diaper and sure saved a lot of money. Hey, you money savers, get you some old fashion diapers. Saves a bunch! Try it for at least 6 months and see how much fun they are! Try flapping them in the breeze and folding them. Have fun! I just know you are going to do it! Pampers are too convenient. But it's a thought, anyway.

Prayer

How important is prayer in your life? How important it is to spent time with the Lord each day! Personally, I am afraid not to pray! It leaves us open as a prey for the enemy to attack us during the day. I have copied in my Bible sayings I often hear. I am not sure who wrote them but I find them helpful to remember. One is: When the weakest saint gets on his knees - the devil trembles and shakes. Why? Because the devil knows that in prayer is where the victory is won. Another saying is: Watching sights the enemy, but praying fights the enemy. Through out the Bible we read about different kinds of prayer. I am reminded of Moses in Numbers 11: 1-2 "And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord: and the Lord heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnet among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost part of the camp. And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the Lord, the fire was quenched." Here we see such a privileged people complaining! Hadn't God just send a deliverer and gotten them out of Egypt? Out of bondage and on their way to a better land and life! I don't think Moses heard all the complaining but God did. Suddenly God got enough and sent judgment. Who did they turn to then? Moses, who was their advocate! Moses prayed and God prevailed on their behalf. Moses had power with God. This was a prayer that God would remove judgment on the people. Because Moses prayed - judgment was removed. There is a prayer of forgiveness. Prayer of repentance and salvation, then a prayer of praise. So many different kinds of prayers that we read about in God's Word tells us - we need to pray. How many times when we are weighed down with problems do we call upon the Lord? We are like the children of Israel. We know who our Advocate is so why do we wait to call upon Him just when we need Him? I realize He is always there to hear our prayer, to lift the load of the thing that we are so anxious about. But when He comes through - do we take time to praise Him for answered prayer? So often we miss out on a blessing and we feel so out of sort because we did not bring our cares to Him. I am so glad that He is concerned about us and He wants to answer prayer but we go on and try to sort life out on our own. Hey! We have a God! He wants us to brings all our concerns and cares to Him. Jeremiah 3: 33 is God's phone. "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." Matthew 7:7-11 "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts uto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaveb give good things to then that ask him? In Banners of the Christian Faith, we fined an illustation of this truth. When Queen Victoria was opening the Town Hall of Sheffield, she had put into her hand a little golden key, and she was told as she sat in her carriage that she only had to turn the golden key and in a moment the Town Hall gates of Sheffield would fly open. In obedience to the authority of experts who gave her the directions, she turned the golden key, and in a moment by action of electric wires, the Town Hall gates of Sheffield flew open. Exactly in the same way Jesus Christ must know one thing, if He knows anything, and that is, what opens heaven's gates, and in his teachings he reinterated over and over again, as if he thought that this was the things we should find hardest to believe; "Ask, and it shall be given; seek, and ye shall find, knock, and it shall be opened unto you." And I say that if we are justified in believing in the divinity of Christ, then we are justified in going a step further and saying that His authority is good enough to make us believe that the golden key of prayer, if we use it, will open the gates of heaven. ASK, SEEK, KNOCK , Three laws governing our prayer life, three steps into the very presense of Almighty God. Asking implies the dependence upon God, the coming to him as needy. Seeking speaks of endeavor, constraining us us to search until we find. Knocking carries the idea of importunity, the unwillinness to let God go until He He blesses us. Are we asking, are we seeking, are we knocking? The song writer says: What a Friend we have in Jesus, All our sins and griefs to bear! What a privilege to carry, Everything to God in prayer! O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, All because we do not carry, Everything to God in prayer. We teach our children the little song, Whisper a Prayer! Whisper a prayer in the morning, Whisper a prayer a noon; Whisper a prayer in the evening, To keep ypur heart in tune. God answers prayer so why not use the resource that He so willingly gives us. Begin the day with the Lord and you will be amazed at how must better your day goes. I always try to end with this prayer: "Let the words of my mouth, and the meditations of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14

More Oldies

Thought I would give you another glimpse into some of the old dishes I have.
I'm not sure if the green glasses are oatmeal glasses or not. My husband seems to think so.
When he was about 12 years old he went to play with a friend. He does not remember what he and Richard did for Richard's Mom. Some job she wanted done and she got these two little boys to do it! Not for money - which was'nt real plentiful back in those days, but because they just wanted to help.
When my husband started home she had packed up these little green glasses (ten) and gave them to him. He probably forgot all about them. One day, after we were married for quite a few years, my mother in law got them out and gave them back to my husband. I have had them in a litlle corner cabinet in my kitchen since we got them.
I have often wander why someone would give a little boy glasses like these unless they were real plentiful at the time and she thought she needed to give him something. Also, how his Mom kept them all those years and not be tempted to use them. I'm not sure of the size but they hold at least 6 oz if not 8 oz. I feel they are juice glasses. If anyone remembers anything like these from oatmeal in the early 1950's - please let me know. I have never been tempted to use them. We must have gotten them in the 1980's.
The pitcher is another collectable. I must have gotten it in the 1990's. It came from my elderly neighbor who passed away in the year 2000. (The same sweet elderly lady who gave me the teaset from occupied Japan that I wrote about earlier.) I'm not sure of the pattern but feel sure it is real old. GuessI just enjoy old things! She and I use to talk about each piece she had. She knew I liked oldies and I think she enjoyed the company. She had no children. We were neighbors for twenty years and there was an age gape between us but I never seem to notice.
I'm glad she gave me several of the things we talked about before she passed away. At the time we talked about them I just admired them - not knowing that she would eventually give them to me. Guess she just wanted someone to appreciate them. I surely have enjoyed displaying the pitcher along with the glasses that were given my husband.

Warm Babies

I just thought I would post another page from the old 1930 scrap book that was given me. The pages are all yellow and brittle but I still enjoy reading it. This poem was written by a black man years ago.
Warm Babies
Note: When a negro preacher with imagination and poetic license sets out to deliver a sermon, especially if there be fire involved, he makes things hot. Keith Preston has caught the spirit of the theme and rendered it in true "Negro" style.
Shadrach, Mesach, Abednego, Walked in the furnace to and 'fro.
Hay foot, straw foot, fro and' to - an' the flame an' the smoke flared up de flue.
Nebuchadnezzar he listen some, and hear 'em talk, an' he say,"How come?"
An' he hear 'em walk, and he say."How so? Dem babies was hawg tied an hour ago!"
Then Shadrach call, in a uppity way, "A little more heat or we ain gwine stay!"
An Meseach bawl, so dat furnace shake: Lanlawd, heat! fo' de good Lawd's sake.
Abednego yell wid a loud "kerchoo -Is you out to freeze us, y' great big Jew?"
Nebuchadnezzear, he rare and ramp, An' call to his janitor, "You big black scamp
Shake dem clinkers an' spen' dat coal! I'll bake dem birds, ef I goes in de hole."
He puts on de draf an' he shuts de door, so the furnace glow and de chimbly roar.
Ol' Nebubuchadnezzar, he smole a smile, "Guess lat'll hold 'em " says he ,"one while."
Then Shadrach, Mesach, Abednego, Walk on de hot coals to an' fro,
An holler out fo' a mite mo' heat - Gulp dem cinders like chicken meat.
Ol' Nebuchadnezzar gives up de fight: He open dat door an' he bow perlite.
He shade his eyes from the glare infernal , an' he say to Abednego, "Step out colonel."
An' he add, "Massa Shadrach, I hopes you all - wont be huffy at me a'tall.
Then Shadrach, Mesach, Abednego, hay foot, straw foot, three in a row
Stepped right smart from dat oven door, Jes' as good as they wuz before,
An' far as Nebchadnezzar could find, Jes' as good as they was behind.

More Antiques

Does anyone know what the little crystal hearts are on the left? They are individual salt containers that were used before my time. They come with little tiny spoons but I can't find the spoons. I have 6 of these little jewels that were given to me about 20 years ago. My neighbor ask me what you used them for and at the time I did not know. So since she was packing up all her Dad's house and moving she told me to take them. At the time I just thought they were cute, but after checking antique shops I found out what they were. I saw some plain ones that were quite expensive. I have no idea what these would be worth.
The dish on the right side came from my husband's grandmother. I don't know it's original use but she use it for a sugar bowl. It was always on her kitchen table as my husband grew up.
So it means a lot to him. I just have it in a pie safe with other antiques. It can be seen because the pie safe is also an antique that his Aunt left him. It had to be restored but has original screen on it. I stripped it down when we got it and the oak was so pretty that all I did was put a sealer on it. Later I will take a picture of the pie safe and post it.
I wonder what in the world to do with some of this stuff that is so sentimemtal to me. Seems younger generations has no appreciation for antique. I'll just enjoy them and the first child or grandchild that shows interest I will give it to them. I had a Real McCoy Cookie Jar that was my mother's when I was young. One day my son came by and told me to take car of it - he wanted it. I picked it up and gave it to him and told him to take care of it! It was a Chef and in perfect shape. He and his wife went to an antique show and saw one just like it. He had to have it and paid 65.00 for it.
Guess I need to go to antique shows and see what some things are worth. I might want to have a flea market! If I wasn't so sentimental I would - but sentiment gets the best of me so I guess I'll just keep washing and dusting each little treasure.

WAITING ON GOD

Yesterday as we were riding in the van with my brother and his wife he was singing a little chorus with much meaning. TEACH ME LORD TO WAIT. "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint. Teach me Lord, teach me Lord to wait."
My thoughts, while he was singing, were: The hardest thing in my Christian life has been to learn how to wait. In a little while he look at my husband and said, "You know that is one of the hardest things to do?" Wait! How many times in a day do we hear that one word?
I knew the scripture by heart but I had to go back this morning and read it from the Bible. I went back a few verses and read in Isaiah 40:28: "Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding." vs.29 "He giveth power to the faint;and to them that have no might he increaseth strength."
It seems we are forever waiting on someone or something. My brother remembered when we were kids. Mother and Dad would go on Friday evening to buy groceries for the week. We children stayed at home except for the baby. Sometimes it got dark before they got home. But we were brave since we had an older brother with us. We knew that when they got home with the groceries that somewhere in a bag -they would have us candy. So really- waiting wasn't too bad because we there was something in it for us.
But what about the times when we have to wait and don't really understand why? The times that we ask the Lord to work on behalf of a cetain situation that is really important to us? Are we willing to wait patiently for God's timing? Patiently? Wherever did that word come from? That means we have to have patience and doesn't the Word say Tribulation worketh patience?
I remember in High School that I thought the Senior year would never come. But as I plodded along with my studies the day finally arrived. I was a High School Graduate!
I also remember when my husband ask me to marry him. That was in March. We set the date for November. We were 300 miles away from each other. So we patiently waited for a letter in the mail each day. I wore a path going to the mailbox to hear just a few words from my future groom. It finally got down to with each letter we could count off the weeks, then the days
and then the news that he would be there the next day. The day finally came that we had waited for. The bride and groom were united in marriage. Was it worth the wait? Oh Yes!I often think that we as the Bride of Christ are waiting for our Groom, the Lord Jesus to come. Will it be worth the wait? A thousand times yes!
In the 1st chapter of Acts Jesus commanded His disciples not to depart out of Jerusalem but wait for the promise of the Father. After giving them instructions He was taken up in a cloud. Here were these men that had walked and talked every day with Jesus. Now their Leader was gone! They really did not know what was going to happen. Just wait! In waiting pray! Why did they have to wait so long? Because that was their command. But as they prayed I am prone to think that maybe they had some issues with each other that had to be cleared up. Restitution! That's a word we don't hear much anymore.
Maybe fellowship with each other had to be restored, maybe hard feelings -- whatever they did to get in one accord was well worth the price they paid to get there. Can you imagine 120 in the upper room all in one accord? They were there because Jesus gave them instructions to tarry and wait. He promised them power after the Holy Spirit comes. They were as human as we are!
"Lord, will thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? and he said unto them , It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power." They were expecting Jesus to come back and set up his kingdom. But they were to soon learn the meaning of waiting on the Lord.
I find in my own Christian life that it is easier to wait now than it was in the past. Do I like it? No! But I have learned over the years that the Lord has our interest at heart. I have learn to depend on Him to work everything in my life out as He sees best. Is it easy? No! I have to ask the Lord to help me with each new trial. I remember wearing myself out trying to work out my own problems. Can I tell you - I have always made a mess of things when I do?
"Hast thou not heard that the Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? He giveth power to the faint, and to them that hath no might He increaseth strength." He will work out every thing in our life if we will learn to wait on Him.
Teach me Lord, Teach me Lord, to wait!

"RAGGED OLD FLAG" I walked through a county courthouse square On a park bench an old man was sittting there I said "Your courthouse is kind a rundown." He said,"Na! It'll do for our little town." I said, "Your flag pole has leaned a litle bit And that's a ragged old flag you got hanging on it." He said, "Have a seat" and I sat down. "Is this the first time you've been to our little town?" I said, "I think it is." He said,"I don't like to brag But we're kind of proud of that ragged old flag. You see! we got a litle hole in that flag there. When Washington took it across the Delaware And it got powder burned the night Francis Scott Key Sat watchin it writing: Say can you see, And it got a bad rip in New Orleans With Packingham and Jackson tuggin at it's seams. And almost fell at the Alamo beside the Texas flag. But she waved on tho' she got cut with a sword at Chancelorsville. And she got cut agin at Shilo Hill. There was Robert E. Lee, Beauregard and Brag. And the south wind blew hard on that old ragged flag. On Flanders Hill in World War 1 She got a big hole from a Bertha gun. She turned blood red by the time it was through She was in Korea and Viet Nam, She went where she was set by her Uncle Sam. She got mistreated in Iran, But got a ticker tape welcome back, home again. In Her own good land She's been abuse She's been burned and dishonored, denied and refused And the government for which She stands Has been scandalized though out the land. And She's getting threadbare for the shape She's in 'Cause She's been through the fire before. And I believe She can take a whole lot more. So we raise Her up every morning, take Her down every night. We don't let Her touch the ground, and fold Her up right. On second thought, I do like to brag. Cause I'm mighty proud of that old ragged flag." I found this in and old scrape book that my Mother gave me. GOD BLESS AMERICA! HAPPY 4TH OF JULY

'TIL THE STORMS PASSES OVER

These are indeed trying times that we live in! Sometimes the way gets dark. Every day for the past few days, in the heat of the day a dark cloud will block out the rays of the sun. It will pass, the sky will lighten up , then later the sky will darken again.
I thought about the dark clouds that come in a Christians life. When dark times come I seem to think of the song 'TILL THE STORM PASSES OVER.
In the dark of the midnight, have I oft hid my face,
While the storms howl above me, and there,s no hiding place
Mid the crash of the thunder, precious Lord, hear my cry
Keep me safe til the storm passes by.
Many times Satan whispers. 'There is no need to try,
For there's no end of sorrow, there's no hope by and by.
But I know thou art with me and tomorow I'll rise
Where the storms never darken the skies.
When the long night has ended, and the storms come no more,
Let me stand in thy presence on that bright peaceful shore,
In that land where the temptest never comes, Lord, may I
Dwell with thee when the storm passes by.
'Til the storms passes over, 'til the thunder sounds no more
'Til the clouds roll forever from the sky,
Hold me fast, let me stand in the hollow of Thy hand
Keep me safe 'til the storm passes by.
I read where F.B.Meyer wrote: Clouds, as dust, conceal Him, but we must not dwell with those dark and discouraging thoughts as if the clouds were all! God is behind those looming masses, working for us and with us. He is coming to our rescue, showing Himself strong on our behalf. Whenever you face another cloudy day, be aware of the fact that God cannot be far away. What you see is only the dust He is raising in His progress toward you. He is near! Trust Him!
Those puffy clouds may be a great mass to you, equal to the Alps in magnificence, in height, in girth, and in impossibilities. To God, however, the clouds are a particle of dust. Your difficulties, perplexities, and anxieties are very little things to Him. With one movement of His hand He can sweep them all away just as you might remove dust from a table. Can you not trust Him? Your tears move Him, your difficulties are nothing but dust to Him. He is coming to you with majesty! (Unquote)
I thought as a younger person, we have trials. Surely the Lord is trying to mold us. Then as adult hood came and the storms were of a different nature, surely the Lord is trying to mold us.
In raising children and trying to mold their life's and praying that God will lead them in the right direction in life .. surely this was a great responsibility. Then as they began to make choices of their own, the thing that touches and grieves a Mother's heart is when one makes a wrong choice. I'm sure a Dad, also, but it seemed in our home that Dad showed it ia different way. Sure we are grieved, our hearts are torn and sometimes it seems crushed to the limit. Seems all our dreams for that child is at our feet in ashes. But as F.B. Meyer wrote, Isn't that only a particle of dust? Can we trust God in these times?
May I say that we are going through a time of heartache with a grown child. But no matter what wrong choices they make: We still love. That love will never go away even if a child choses to distance himself from you. I ask myself what is God trying to teach us through all
trying dark cloudy days? Discouraged? No! We can't afford to be.
My desire is that whatever we go through in life that we may shine forth as overcomers because of Him. I feel that God wants to turn heartaches and sorrows into service for Him. I feel He wants us to draw closer to Him when these times comes.
Herbert Lockyer writes: "The dramatic Book of Job declares that he patriach's sufferings were not a token of God's judgment upon him for wickedness; they are rather an evidence of God's confidence in him for his integrity. Job portrays why the Godly should suffer. It is because trial is a trust from the Giver of every good and perfect gift to be borne for His glory.
There seem to be a majesty in his sufferings and cloudy days also. But Job came forth as gold.
And said "Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him."
In these last days before the Lord comes the devil is making an all out attack on Christian families. We must stick together and bear one another's burdens. A very special family in our church is facing some mighty dark days. I can't say that I know all they are going through, but
what is my duty as a child of God? To help them bear that burden! To pray and let them know they are loved. That black cloud that they are under can become the brightest cloud. I know they will come out victorious because they know where their help comes from. But right now it seems the sun will never shine again. Will you pray for this family? Our heart goes out to them and I'm sure yours would too if you knew the circumstances. But God knows!
Job cried out"Oh, that I might know where to find Him, that I might come to His seat." The more he cried out, the more the darkness intensified in the clouds that hung over Him. Job could not find God in those awful clouds. he went forward, backward, to the right and to the left, but could not find Him. But Job in all his distress said: "But He knoweth the way that I take: When He hath tried me I shall come forth as gold." Job 23:10
I am made to realiaze more and more that God knows exactly where His children are. He knows exactly when and how to help us. Even in the cloud . Just hang on and the storm will pass over!
He has proven this to be many times. He wants our trust!
